{"id":97721,"date":"2024-03-06T14:32:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-06T13:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/actitudes.ch\/?p=97721"},"modified":"2024-11-12T14:58:51","modified_gmt":"2024-11-12T13:58:51","slug":"facilitation-or-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/actitudes.ch\/en\/facilitation-ou-formation\/","title":{"rendered":"What are the differences between training and facilitation?"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"bde-section-97721-100 bde-section\">\n  \n  \n\t\n\n\n\n<div class=\"section-container\"><div class=\"bde-rich-text-97721-101 bde-rich-text breakdance-rich-text-styles\">\n<h2>BUT IN FACT, WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN TRAINING AND FACILITATION?\u00a0<\/h2><h3>If the role of training is to transmit knowledge and enable the learning of a given subject matter and concepts, and trainers are often experts in the subject matter transmitted;<\/h3><h3>facilitators, on the other hand, are not necessarily experts in the content brought forth, but rather in how to create and guarantee a secure framework and a process within which group members can generate and share ideas, solve problems, and make decisions together.<\/h3><p><br \/>The trainer knows their subject and develops pedagogical methods and formats to enable the understanding and integration of the content, of the knowledge transmitted to participants as easily as possible.<br \/><br \/>The facilitator designs animation structures that will allow the group to feel secure and express themselves in many different ways through collective intelligence and collaboration exercises and tools (for example) to achieve a common goal by drawing on the knowledge and resources of each group member.<br \/><br \/><\/p><h3>It can also be interesting to combine training and facilitation approaches depending on the needs!<\/h3><p><br \/><strong>Both the role of trainer and that of facilitator can be creative and inspiring roles<\/strong> in which one can <strong>develop new animation structures<\/strong>, of\u2019<strong>\u201cseriously playful\u201d exercises\u201d<\/strong>, and even \u201c<strong>connected<\/strong>\u201d, of\u2019<strong>sometimes a little crazy experiences<\/strong> and <strong>enable achievements and moments of strong connections between humans<\/strong>.<br \/><br \/>And you, <strong>what are the recent animation structures you have experimented with and what effects have they had within the teams and groups you work with?<\/strong> We look forward to discussing the subject with you.<br \/><br \/>-&gt;
