- Target audience: Church leaders, exercising a paid or volunteer ministry; mission managers, project managers of teams in connection with a community.
Seminar objectives:
- Discover the essential foundations for building healthy, resilient, inspired, and sustainable Church teams.
- Learn to effectively mobilize communities and engage volunteers within your Church.
- Acquire concrete tools and practical methods, inspired by the 18 key factors developed by Actitudes, to work in a more united, vibrant, and fruitful way.
Key themes:
- Mobilizing communities and volunteers.
- Working effectively and bearing fruit.
- Navigating changes and growing together.
Training content: The training is based on the “Sustainable Teams” methodology developed by Actitudes and the 18 key factors for efficient teamwork, which promotes sustainable, high-performing, and humanly engaged teams. This systemic approach uses the metaphor of the tree to illustrate the interdependence of elements essential to an organization's vitality. Many organizations and volunteer associations have already been able to develop their teams by working around these factors.
- The Crown : Represents the team's purpose and shared vision, innovation and value creation, as well as the beneficiary (“faithful”) experience.
- The Trunk and Branches : Symbolize team dynamics, collaboration and energy flow, including inspiring goals, work-life/ministry balance, conflict management and feedback, learning and growth, reliability and teamwork, and a positive attitude towards change.
- The Roots : Embody strong foundations such as supportive leadership, psychological safety, clarity of roles and processes, stakeholder and risk management, workplace design, resources and know-how, recognition and reward, communication, and strategy and priorities.
For lasting impact: anchoring and networking
To ensure a lasting impact for this “Sustainable Teams in Church” approach, this seminar will promote the anchoring of learning: you will be invited to form peer-to-peer follow-up pairs. We will also initiate discussion around the creation of a community of practice, a powerful lever for the continuous sharing of resources and best practices, thus extending the benefits of the training in the long term.
