Sharing an inspiring leader

 

Thank you for your invaluable sharing Célia Neipp at our Actitudes MeetUp on Monday, about your work supporting your teams in a fast-changing environment and with newly-formed teams.

Your sharing was full of managerial and group facilitation nuggets, and we admired your ability to move from team leader to facilitator during your collective intelligence workshop (which was one of the stages in the coaching you shared with us).

Among these nuggets, we'd like to mention a few in no particular order:

HOW DO WE MAKE SENSE WITH DECISIONS THAT HAVE BEEN IMPOSED ON US? Some of your suggestions:
- Transparency: explain why these decisions have been made, and the wider context.
- Give teams a choice about "how" things are done, and leave room for manoeuvre to team members on how they want to do things.

THE CULTURE OF FEEDBACK DOESN'T GO AWAY:
- It requires regular practice and trust in the hierarchy
- It needs to be formalized to be healthy

THE POWER OF COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE and your skilful and agile facilitation of a workshop during which you brilliantly combined the creative thinking structures of the "double diamond" of design-thinking with the 18 drivers for sustainable teams for structuring and prioritizing themes.
