A few systemic principles to optimize your organizational support

A few systemic principles to optimize your organizational support

Sharing an inspiring partner

We are pleased to to re-share some of the systemic principles brought by Andrea Zahno, Psychologist FSP and facilitator at Actitudes - this Monday at our Actitudes MeetUp® on systemic organizational coaching.

During this MeetUp, the group was invited to directly apply systemic principles itself to generate hypotheses and recommendations around a concrete case study provided by Andrea in the form of a vignette.

And here are a few systemic principles on which the group was able to base its thinking:

CIRCULARITY: What we identify as "the problem" is often the visible effect of a chain of events, or even an adaptive response of the system to another imbalance.

MULTI-CAUSE: Effects are produced by a network of factors, which interact with each other and evolve over time.

SYSTEMIC READING OF THE SYMPTOM / PROBLEM: A local symptom is a reflection of the global system.

HOMEOSTASY: The system seeks to maintain its equilibrium even when it is dysfunctional.

EQUIFINALITY: Different paths can lead to the same result.

> What do these systemic principles mean to you in your organizational contexts?

Thanks to Andrea for this fabulous and interactive MeetUp, and to the group for your involvement and the quality of your reflections.
