Sharing from an inspiring Leader
Thanks to our excellent MeetUp speaker Julie Müller for her fascinating sharing about her work with her managers and teams using the 18 key factors for sustainable teams, in her previous role as Head of Housekeeping at CHUV.
Julie's sharing generated keen interest in the group, and it was interesting to note that the challenges encountered by teams in her field also resonate with people in very different work areas. This is one of the objectives of our MeetUp Actitudes: to break down silos and be able to share best practices, inspirations, and ideas across different professional fields, even when they appear to be very different.
Julie tells us that she was able to use the 18 key factors cards during a half-day workshop with her managers to generate discussions within the group, express priority themes, and focus ideas and improvement proposals around several key dimensions, including:
#18 Supportive Leadership
#16 Communication tools and platforms.
Following this workshop, the teams were able to develop various projects within the framework of the priority factors defined together:
- Such as creating video tutorials made by the team for the team in the form of short training video capsules.
- The team of managers also did extensive progressive work around the manager-coach posture.
In Julie's daily management role, the 18 key factors cards have become a guideline for her personally and in her team management.
We could highlight many other fascinating points from her sharing, but for the sake of brevity, we will stop there for today. We warmly invite you to participate in our upcoming MeetUp Actitudes™.
