Key factors for effective and high-performing collaboration in the context of an external evaluation

Retrospective on the collaboration of two project managers within the framework of a complex institutional accreditation procedure project.

Last September 23rd, we had the chance to welcome Nathalie Valière and Bastien Brodard to our Actitudes MeetUp. Bastien and Nathalie indeed collaborated on a complex HEP accreditation project over several months, Nathalie as quality project manager at HEP and Bastien as project manager for the external agency AAQ.

Collaboration between different business specialists:
Both are trained in the sustainable teams approach and wished to use the 18 key factors for sustainable teams to evaluate their collaboration.

Here are the key factors that have:

  • supported the project management, within their respective organizations and

  • characterized their collaboration, as part of this external evaluation of the Higher Education Institution:

➢ Supportive Leadership
➢ Customer Orientation
➢ Strategy & Roadmap
➢ Roles & Processes
➢ Resources & Know-how

For them, the framework of 18 key factors for sustainable support teams, has been:

  • useful for activity analysis, including when it combines project management and collaborative leadership
  • a lever for analyzing collaboration between two organizations

  • relevant in the context of managing the Higher Education sector

  • an aid to the development of a «sustainable performance culture»

Thanks to our two speakers for this inspiring sharing and to the group present for their participation and see you very soon for future MeetUps together!
