Key topics

This one-and-a-half-day residential program offers you a space for introspection, stepping back and exchanging with peers. It's a place to explore new avenues of facilitation, both in terms of tools and approach. This work will enable you to, in turn, invite the groups you accompany to go further in their own exploration, moving from a transactional level to relational and transformational spaces.

The program is run bilingually (French and English) by our team of experienced facilitators:
Marie O'Hara, Clarissa Nicolet and Frederic Meuwly.

A program designed specifically for certified facilitators!

This program has been created for certified facilitators who wish to deepen their practice and explore their own facilitation experiences. It offerse advanced exploration that goes beyond the simple application of methodologies to an understanding and sensitivity to the subtle dynamics of facilitation. By developing a greater awareness of yourself and of what is at play in resonance with the group, you will be able to create spaces of psychological safety that enable teams to experience real transformation, so as not to be merely "working on the surface".

Program Elements

This residential is a true immersion, designed around two major axes: the exploration of your identity as a facilitator and the advanced application of the concepts.

The Facilitator: role and potential
We will delve into the heart of your role as a facilitator by working on your inner self, enabling you to:

  • Reflect on your role and identity: What does the role of facilitator mean to you? What do you expect of yourself, and what do others expect of you?
  • Exploring your mental models and projections: How do your own perceptions and those of your constituents influence your practice?
  • Understand your "why": Why are you a facilitator? What nourishes and energizes you, and what takes it away?
  • Making the link between the "I" and the "We": How to bring care to others (and yourself), for a Generative Leadership approach enabling you to guide the group with energy and benevolence.

Advanced facilitation techniques: Application and experimentation
We move from concepts to application by tackling more complex aspects of facilitation. The aim is to give you the confidence to tackle any facilitation situation. You'll benefit from the perspectives of your fellow facilitators, as well as the expert insight of the team that will accompany you through the process. You will also explore specific challenges frequently encountered, such as :

  • How to manage introverts and make them feel at ease in a group?
  • How do you deal with dominant people who "challenge" the authority of the process?
  • How do you deal with participants who have "blocking/refractory" attitudes to the approach?
  • For in-house facilitators, how can they adopt a "neutral" posture and manage higher expectations regarding deliverables?
  • How do you deal with people with whom you have less affinity?
  • How can "Sustainable Teams" initiatives be extended within an organization?

What you bring to the teams you support

By allowing yourself to be fully in your role as facilitator, you'll be better able to support teams in advanced explorations. You'll know how to manage projections and expectations, how to offer constructive feedback, and how to create a space where trust and mutual learning can flourish. This program is an opportunity to perfect your skills and transform your facilitation practice in depth.

Who is this program for?

This program is designed for certified facilitators who wish to :
