Key points covered

Lasting one and a half days in a residential setting, this program is an opportunity to offer you a space for introspection, for taking a step back, and for peer exchange. A space to explore your facilitation strengths and challenges and allow you to go further in aligning your posture as a facilitator.

This work will subsequently allow you to invite the groups you accompany to also go further in their own exploration and move from a transactional level to transformational spaces.

The program is led in bilingual (French and English) by:
Marie O’Hara, Clarissa Nicolet and Frederic Meuwly.

A program specifically designed for Actitudes facilitators

This program has been specifically developed for certified facilitators (or in the process of certification) who wish to deepen their practice and explore their own facilitation experiences, analyze their strengths and challenges. It offers anin-depth exploration that goes beyond the application of tools and methodology to reach the understanding and sensitivity of the subtle dynamics of facilitation.

By developing a better self-awareness and of what is at play in resonance with the group, you will be able to create spaces of psychological safety that allow teams to experience true transformations, so as not to be solely on a “surface work”.

Program outline

This residential is a true immersion, structured around two major axes: the’exploration of your facilitator identity combined with peer sharing in intervision and peer coaching formats.

The Facilitator: their role and potential
We will delve into the heart of your role as a facilitator through inner work, allowing you to:

  • Reflect on your role and identity: What does the role of facilitator mean to you? What do you expect of yourself and what are the expectations of others?
  • Understand your “why”: Why are you a facilitator? What nourishes you and gives you energy, and what takes it away?
  • Explore your strengths and challenges: what are your facilitation strengths and challenges, what are your “triggers”? Develop an in-depth understanding of your own mental schemas and integrate them to strengthen and align your posture.
  • Making the link between the “Me” and the “We”: How to bring care to others while also bringing it to yourself, for a Generative Leadership approach allowing you to guide the group accurately over time.

Peer sharing: intervision and peer coaching formats

Like the Intervision Circles – while going deeper into the formats – this residential is also an opportunity to benefit from the cross-perspectives of your colleagues on your facilitation situations but also to benefit from the “mirror” of your peers on your facilitation posture and your challenges. During these 1.5 days we will rely on peer coaching as well as intervision formats.

What you bring to the teams you support

By allowing you to be fully in your role as a facilitator, you will be able to better support teams in advanced explorations. This program is an opportunity to improve yourself to transform your facilitation practice in depth.
