What must an organization put in place to support and accompany sustainable team work groups and initiatives?

 

Sharing from an inspiring facilitator

 

Last December 9th, our Actitudes® MeetUp took place with Vincent Chesneau, facilitator of sustainable teams at SECO. During this interactive MeetUp Vincent proposed to the group present to develop ideas and even an action plan to support him in the continuation of his sustainable team coaching with his organization.

Here are the themes he entrusted to the group and on which the MeetUp participants were invited to make proposals:

“ How to encourage and accustom managers and employees to use the tools and resources made available with the aim of fostering supportive Leadership and Team Learning? ”

and

“ How to enable everyone to participate and exchange within the working groups set up (avoiding one or two people taking too much importance and others being passive).”

And here are several observations, findings, and proposals that the group brought forth for Vincent:

 

  • The importance of the project sponsor's positioning
  • A clear shared vision
  • Sharing of tools to organize working group sessions
  • Making visible to those concerned what such an approach can bring
  • Sharing of expectations and wishes between the initiators and recipients of the approach
  • Welcoming errors.


A big thank you to you Vincent and to the group for your valuable contribution and participation in this interactive MeetUp which was structured into several stages and sequences of reflection and involvement (individual, duos, plenary).
